In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Karaganov emphasized that Germany should be the first target, considering it the source of "the worst European stories." He mentioned that such an attack could be preceded by conventional strikes and expressed his concern that, in the event of Vladimir Putin's assassination, Europe could be "wiped off the map."

Karaganov described nuclear weapons as a "gift from the Almighty" and insisted on the need to eliminate the European threat.
