The Foreign Ministry in Chisinau has sent a protest note to the Russian ambassador regarding the opening of polling stations in Transnistria for the presidential elections in Russia.

The Chisinau authorities have allowed only one polling station to open in Moldova for the presidential elections in Russia, while Russia has opened 6 polling stations in the Transnistrian region of Moldova. The Moldovan PM stressed that the state must be respected and any violation will be protested.
