Renault saw a significant increase in hybrid car sales in the first eight months of the year, thanks to its low-cost hybrid technology. This success comes amid stagnant demand for expensive electric cars. Although Renault is doing well in the hybrid segment, it will have to increase sales of electric cars to meet new emissions regulations.
