Israel recently launched airstrikes in Lebanon, targeting a hotel in Beirut and a residential building in the eastern part of the country, according to Lebanese media. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that six people were killed and eight injured as a result of these attacks, noting that this is a preliminary toll. Among the victims are three paramedics, according to statements from the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus. These attacks occurred after Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets at Israeli drones. Additionally, the Israeli army announced that ground troops have taken control of areas in southern Lebanon, near the border with Israel.
