New information in the case of the kidnapping of presenter Savannah Guthrie's mother: a message claims that the woman has died

American investigators are looking into a new ransom message received after the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of TV presenter Savannah Guthrie. According to the American press, the note sent to the family claims that the woman has died accidentally and contains apologies from the alleged kidnappers. Authorities in Arizona and the FBI continue their investigations, but so far have not confirmed the victim's death nor provided additional details about the authenticity of the message. The Guthrie family is appealing to the public for any information that could help find the woman, who has been missing since the end of January.
