Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukraine's attacks on Russia's economic infrastructure have opened the "Pandora's Box," announcing that Moscow will respond with attacks on the most sensitive Ukrainian economic sectors.

The statement came following the intensification of Ukraine's drone attacks on economic targets in Russia, including refineries and warehouses. Putin emphasized that these attacks aim to reduce Russia's capacity to sustain its war effort.

He also mentioned that Russia has already begun retaliating against Ukrainian economic infrastructure, affecting grain exports.

Despite concerns about potential global food shortages, Putin assured that Russia can replace Ukrainian exports.

Additionally, the Russian leader reaffirmed the willingness to participate in peace negotiations but dismissed Ukrainian proposals as "exotic," emphasizing that discussions must reflect "the realities on the ground."
