Vladimir Putin will arrive on Friday in Anchorage, Alaska, where he will be greeted by Donald Trump. During the four-hour flight from Magadan, the Russian leader will study information on Ukraine, bilateral tensions and economic cooperation. The stopover in Magadan included a meeting with the region's governor and laying flowers at a memorial dedicated to USSR-US cooperation during World War II. The visit comes amid deteriorating relations between Alaska and Russia.
