In a press conference, Vladimir Putin stated that Russia will not yield to external pressures, including from the USA, and warned that an attack on Russian territory will have a "very strong" response, even "overwhelming." He commented on the sanctions imposed by the USA, considering them unfriendly acts, but assured that the Russian economy will not be severely affected. Putin emphasized that disruption of global energy markets could have negative consequences for the USA. Regarding the Tomahawk missiles, he said that their use against Russia would lead to a serious response. Additionally, Putin advocated for continuing dialogue with Donald Trump, emphasizing that meetings must be well-prepared and that dialogue is preferable to confrontation. This comes in the context of Trump announcing the postponement of a planned meeting with Putin in Budapest, following Russia's refusal to accept a ceasefire in Ukraine.
