Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he is open to a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenski, but only in the context of finalizing negotiations. Putin has questioned Zelenski's legitimacy, noting that his term in office will expire in May 2024 and that Ukraine has been unable to hold elections because of the conflict. Putin also emphasized that the Russian army continues to advance on the front, despite previous talks that have not yielded significant results.
