In a letter published in North Korea's Rodong Sinmun, Putin emphasized the good relations between the two countries and promised to develop alternative trade and security mechanisms not controlled by the West. He also thanked North Korea for supporting Russia's actions in Ukraine and pledged support against US pressure.
