Russian President Vladimir Putin informed a group of important businessmen that he could be open to a territorial exchange in Ukraine, but that he specifically wants the entire Donbas. During a meeting at the Kremlin, Putin mentioned that Russia is willing to make concessions, but that the Donbas must remain under Russian control. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also stated that discussions with American delegates have progressed, but no agreement has been reached regarding the cession of territories in Donbas or the future of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, controlled by Russia.

Putin emphasized that a peace agreement should involve Ukraine's withdrawal from the occupied regions and renunciation of NATO membership. Additionally, there was discussion about the joint management of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and the U.S. interest in cryptocurrency mining near it, considering that nuclear power plants provide stable energy for such activities.
