Russian President Vladimir Putin accuses NATO of global militarization and announces the strengthening of Russia's nuclear arsenal, including the modernization of bombers and ballistic missiles.

Vladimir Putin said NATO is provoking a global arms race, announcing the strengthening of Russia's nuclear triad with modernized bombers and ballistic missiles. He criticized NATO members' military spending and dismissed accusations of a threat from Russia, calling the claims "horror stories". Putin also announced the formation of a new drone force and warned of tensions in the Middle East. Russia will continue its military build-up, including the production of new ballistic missiles, as nuclear arms reduction agreements near expiry.
