The team from the University of Queensland has tested the IVF technique on eastern gray kangaroos in the hope of helping to conserve endangered marsupial species. The technique could be extended to other threatened species such as the koala, Tasmanian devil, northern hairy-nosed wombat and the opossum Leadbeater.
