On Tuesday, Pope Leo XIV prayed for peace at the Colosseum in Rome, emphasizing the need to put an end to global conflicts.

At the closing ceremony of the interreligious meeting organized by the Sant'Egidio Community, he declared: "Enough with wars!", highlighting the world's desire for an era of reconciliation.

The Pope emphasized the importance of prayer as a force for reconciliation and condemned religious abuses that lead to violence.

He called on political leaders to prioritize peace, warning that God will hold accountable those who instigate conflicts.

The event was also attended by leaders of other Christian denominations, reaffirming the common commitment to dialogue and cooperation in the face of global tensions.
