Poland is finalizing a plan to protect its artistic heritage, essential in the face of Russian threats, culture minister Hanna Wroblewska has said. The plan, part of a national security strategy, aims to temporarily relocate works of art from 160 institutions with the help of international partners. Maciej Matysiak, a former colonel, will oversee the operation, drawing on Poland's experience in supporting Ukraine. Assessing priority assets for evacuation remains a challenge. Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are developing similar plans.
