Pilatus, a leading Swiss aircraft manufacturer, has announced the temporary suspension of deliveries of its PC-12 and PC-24 models to the US as a result of the new 39% tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. This decision significantly affects the company's competitiveness, given that the US accounts for around 40% of annual production. The Swiss authorities are in talks to reduce these trade barriers, but Pilatus reaffirms its commitment to protecting jobs. Switzerland could also abandon the purchase of 36 F-35 planes because of these tariffs.
