The contract, part of the "Grok for Government" program, comes after backlash over the chatbot's anti-Semitic posts. Musk admitted that Grok was "too obedient". The Pentagon has also awarded similar contracts to Anthropic, Google and OpenAI, emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence for national security.
