Paris is covered by a layer of snow a few centimeters thick, and the snowfall has persisted for several days. Authorities have mobilized hundreds of machines to clear the streets of the capital, which are now covered in snow. Despite the severe weather, many Parisians are taking advantage of the winter landscape, strolling along the banks of the Seine and photographing the snow-covered monuments. All departments in the Paris region are under an orange weather warning for snowfall and ice. Meteorologists estimate that the snow layer will reach 7 centimeters, and the Minister of Transport has warned that traffic will be complicated in several regions. The snowfall is also affecting other areas in France, such as Hauts-de-France and Centre-Val-de-Loire, and drivers heading towards the Alps are advised to be cautious, considering the opening of the ski season.
