On Monday, in the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta region of the occupied West Bank, Palestinian activist Odeh Muhammad Hadalin was killed by an Israeli settler. The Palestinian Education Ministry confirmed that Hadalin was 'shot dead by settlers' during an 'attack on the village of Umm al-Khair'. Hadalin, 31, played a key role in supporting the production of the documentary No Other Land, which captured the impact of Israeli military and settler violence on his community.
