PACE rapporteur Saskia Kluit condemned the actions in the Gaza Strip, describing them as ethnic cleansing and genocide. She underlined the severe humanitarian crisis, especially for women and children, and denounced the total blockade of aid. Kluit calls on Israel to respect international law, allow humanitarian access and stop violence against the Palestinian population. She also urges the international community to fulfill its legal obligations and support the ceasefire.
