Barack Obama condemns the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's show, considering it a threat to the First Amendment and a capitulation of the media in the face of the Trump administration.

"After years of complaints regarding the culture of cancellation, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level, regularly threatening with regulatory measures against media companies if they do not silence or dismiss reporters and commentators they do not like," wrote the former president on Thursday on X.
