After its restoration, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris attracted 6.02 million visitors between December 2024 and June 2025, an average of 35,000 per day. Monsignor Olivier Ribadeau Dumas said the excitement of the reopening equaled that of the 2019 fire. If the pace keeps up, the cathedral could reach nearly 12 million visitors by 2025. Restoration work, costing €846 million, is continuing, with another €140 million needed to complete.
