According to a British report, North Korea lost more than 6,000 troops in operations in the Kursk region of Russia in the fall of 2024. This significant loss stems from large-scale ground attacks. Estimates show that approximately 15,000 North Korean soldiers were deployed in Ukraine, with a total of 4,700 casualties. North Korean troops have also shown improvements in combat capability, using modern equipment such as drones. This military collaboration has strengthened relations between North Korea and Russia.
