Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced that he will publish on December 10 the book 'Diary of a Prisoner', published by Fayard. In a message on social media X, he describes life in prison, mentioning that, although there is nothing to see or do, the constant noise in prison stimulates inner life.

Sarkozy, at the age of 70, was incarcerated for three weeks at La Santé prison after being found guilty of criminal conspiracy related to obtaining funds for his 2007 campaign from Muammar Gaddafi. He was quickly released pending appeal. This book promises to provide insight into his thoughts and reflections during his detention.
