Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has declared his support for Bulgaria's accession to Schengen, including land borders.

Rutte expressed support for Bulgaria's accession to Schengen, including land borders, in a meeting with Bulgarian interim Prime Minister Dimităr Glavcev. Although Bulgaria is already part of the Schengen area by air and sea, Austria is blocking the lifting of land borders for the two countries.
