The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, made a visit to southern Lebanon on Tuesday, where he reaffirmed the Israeli army's commitment to remain in the area as long as Hezbollah, backed by Iran, poses a threat.

Netanyahu emphasized that soldiers must act immediately in the face of any threat, according to a clear directive. The visit took place in the context of international pressures for Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon, but Netanyahu insisted that the military presence will continue until Hezbollah is disarmed.

Netanyahu stated that Israel and Lebanon must coexist in peace, but warned Iran and Hezbollah to withdraw from the region.
