His lawyer argued that Netanyahu should focus on national and security issues, given the ongoing conflicts. Meanwhile, Donald Trump intervened, arguing that the process should not continue in the context of negotiations with Hamas. Netanyahu, who denies corruption allegations, has already been postponed several times since the trial began in May 2020.
