Benjamin Netanyahu said that Brigadier General Mohamad Kazemi and his deputy, Hassan Mohaqeq, were eliminated during Israeli attacks on Tehran. The actions are part of a wave of strikes on Iran's military and nuclear infrastructure, including the destruction of the Natanz uranium enrichment plant. Israel is in a state of emergency because of Iranian missile threats, and the attacks have resulted in loss of life in both Iran and Israel.
