Phumtham Wechayachai, Thailand's acting prime minister, will hold talks with Hun Manet, Cambodia's prime minister, in Kuala Lumpur on Monday to restore peace in the wake of recent border violence that left 20 dead, including military personnel from both countries. The talks come after attempts at mediation by US President Donald Trump. The conflict, the bloodiest in 15 years, is fueled by territorial disputes over the delineation of a common border drawn during colonial times.
