Following incidents with unidentified drones near military installations in Denmark, NATO announced that it will increase its presence in the Baltic Sea. This will include an air defense frigate and additional intelligence and surveillance resources. Copenhagen Airport and five other Danish airports have been temporarily closed due to the drones. NATO has launched the "Baltic Sentry" mission to protect critical infrastructure and has warned Russia regarding its air incursions. The German interior minister emphasized the increased threat posed by drones.
