NATO deploys new Patriot batteries in Turkey for air defense

Turkey has announced the deployment of a new Patriot air defense battery by NATO at the Incirlik military base, which hosts American forces, in response to the interception of three ballistic missiles launched from Iran towards Turkish territory. The Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that this new Patriot system, ordered by the Allied Air Command in Ramstein, complements the Spanish system already in service.

NATO already has another Patriot system deployed in Adana province, where personnel from the United States and other countries are located. Additionally, Turkey has announced the deployment of a Patriot system in Malatya province, near a NATO radar base, to strengthen air defense against missile threats from Iran.
