The Australian company EOS has launched the Apollo laser system, capable of destroying 200 drones per minute, using a power of 150 kW. It operates at extremely low operating costs, of about one dollar per shot. In parallel, Israel has developed Iron Beam, a laser system designed to destroy missiles, which will complement existing defense systems. These technologies represent an effective response to emerging threats from armed drones.
