On November 26, Brussels Airport will be severely disrupted by a national strike lasting three days, during which security and handling staff will actively participate. This mobilization will lead to the cancellation of all departing flights and possible cancellations of some arriving flights, following union protests against the Federal Government's austerity policies. The airport has communicated that it expects major disruptions and that passengers will be informed directly by airlines about available options. This is the seventh national strike in 2025 affecting air traffic. Additionally, Belgium is facing a significant budget deficit, which has led to these protests. Charleroi Airport remains uncertain regarding the impact of the strike.
