Also called the Alaskan Triangle, the area between Anchorage, Juneau and Utqiagvik is associated with more than 20,000 disappearances, which has given rise to numerous conspiracy theories. Over the years, there have been numerous unsolved disappearances, one of the most notorious cases being that of the plane carrying two US politicians that was never found. Researcher Ken Gerhard emphasized the mysterious nature of the disappearances, expressing concern about these unexplained events. Other hypotheses for the cause of the disappearances include unusual magnetic activity in the area or even extraterrestrial involvement.
