The death toll from the Myanmar earthquake has reached 3 003, with 351 people missing and 4 515 injured. Forecasters warn that heavy rains could begin over the weekend, complicating rescue missions and increasing the risk of drowning for any survivors under the ruins. The quake also had an impact in Thailand, where a skyscraper under construction collapsed, leaving 15 dead and 72 missing. Emergency crews continue to search for survivors.
