Until now, Moscow has not received any indication from Kyiv regarding the willingness to resume negotiations for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Galuzin, in an interview for "Izvestia".

Galuzin emphasized that for negotiations to be successful, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should order a ceasefire and the withdrawal of troops from Donbas and from Russian regions. The diplomat mentioned that only after these measures would it be possible to negotiate specific parameters for a lasting peace. He also highlighted that there is active work on humanitarian issues, including prisoner exchanges, repatriation of civilians, and family reunification, especially of children with their parents. He added that although the negotiation process will be difficult, Russia is ready to participate.
