The Parliament of Mongolia has confirmed Uchral Nyam-Osor as prime minister, in an attempt to overcome the legislative deadlock and respond to economic pressures.

The Parliament of Mongolia has confirmed the appointment of Uchral Nyam-Osor as the third prime minister in the span of a year, in the context of a political and economic crisis. Uchral, a former minister of digital development, emphasized the importance of political unity to face external challenges. With 88 out of 126 parliamentarians voting in his favor, he was elected to modernize the country's regulations and promote transparency reforms. His appointment comes at a time of political instability, with concerns from foreign investors regarding corruption and frequent political changes. Former prime minister Zandanshatar Gombojav resigned to resolve the crisis after being under pressure due to corruption allegations against a senior minister. All three recently appointed prime ministers come from the Mongolian People's Party.
