Moldovan authorities have prevented a Russian delegation of former military officers and officials from entering the country to take part in an unauthorized kickboxing championship. The event, organized by Chisinau city hall, was illegal because the athletes were to use Russian national symbols, banned by the International Olympic Committee. Some of the participants, including those included in the Mirotvoreț database, are accused of supporting Russian aggression in Ukraine.
