Mittens, a Maine Coon cat, was due to fly with his family from Christchurch, New Zealand to their new home in Melbourne, Australia. However, the cat's cage was forgotten in the hold of the airplane, and Mittens made three flights between the two countries within 24 hours. Although he had lost weight, the cat arrived at his destination unharmed.
