The parade on Friday evening marked the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea, following the celebrations on Thursday. Among the foreign guests in Pyongyang were Chinese Premier Li Qiang, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, and the leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam. During the parade, North Korea showcased its advanced intercontinental ballistic missile Hwasong-20, which KCNA described as 'the nation's most powerful strategic nuclear weapon system.'
