Microsoft has announced new strategic partnerships with Nvidia and the artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, marking an important move in its strategy to reduce dependence on OpenAI.

Microsoft will invest up to 5 billion dollars in Anthropic, which has seen its valuation rise to approximately 350 billion dollars. Anthropic has committed to purchasing Azure services worth 30 billion dollars and will collaborate with Nvidia to optimize hardware architectures and AI models. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella emphasized the importance of collaboration in the AI industry, while Nvidia is preparing to report its financial results for the third quarter.
