Dmitri Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, has issued threats against Germany, suggesting attacks on military equipment factories in response to Berlin's accusations regarding Russia's involvement in a drone attack attempt at Leipzig/Halle airport. Germany stated that a drone discovered at the airport was part of a Russian hybrid operation.

Medvedev characterized the accusations as unfounded and attacked the German leadership, calling it neo-Nazi. In his message, he extended the threats to European leaders traveling to Kiev, emphasizing that their actions constitute state terrorism.

The dispute is escalating, considering that Germany is a major supporter of Ukraine, and accusations of sabotage may justify additional security measures. Medvedev's threats, although vaguely formulated, have the potential to intensify tensions between Moscow and Berlin, adding a new level of risk to an already complex confrontation.
