Dmitri Medvedev, former president of Russia and current deputy head of the National Security Council, stated that the United States has no right to impose its will on others, in a post on Telegram on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of US independence.
Medvedev discussed whether the US should be considered a model or an "empire of evil," concluding that it does not fit into either of these categories. He emphasized that the majority of countries in the world agree that the US has no right to make decisions on behalf of others, stating that every country, regardless of size, is capable of solving its own problems.
