The former Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev, commented on the wave of disruptions caused by drones at European airports, mentioning "Ukrainians and Russian cards." He downplayed the connections to Russia, in contrast to the claims of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who suspects Russia's involvement. Medvedev stated that European citizens should feel the danger of war, accusing European leaders of inciting conflict for political reasons. His criticisms also target the discussions in the EU about using frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
