<p>Protesters are challenging the victory of the Georgian Dream party, which they accuse of electoral fraud and possible pro-Russian authoritarian drift. The opposition has called for the results of the parliamentary elections to be annulled and President Salome Zurabishvili has appealed to the constitutional court. This led to tensions and violent clashes between demonstrators and police.
