Former ally of President Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, posted on X that the leader at the White House would consider nuclear attacks against Iran to end the conflict that began in February. Greene stated that, during strategic meetings, there is discussion about the use of nuclear weapons, claiming that she has certain information and that it is a serious situation.
She criticized the previous actions of the Trump administration, which, according to her, led to the killing of Iranian leaders and innocent civilians. Greene emphasized that since the use of nuclear bombs in 1945, there has been no such precedent, mentioning the devastating impact on Japan.
Although Trump stated that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons and threatened with airstrikes, he denied that he would consider the use of nuclear weapons. Negotiations between the US and Iran to end the conflict are currently stalled.
