Marine Le Pen, the president of the parliamentary group of the National Rally (RN) in the National Assembly of France, attacked American President Donald Trump, stating that he has disappointed the far-right in France and acted contrary to his commitments.

In an interview on France Culture, Le Pen emphasized that, following the war in Iran, Trump did "the opposite of what he promised," although she acknowledged that his policy of "breaking with imperialism" was appreciated by the far-right. Le Pen stated that Iran is coming out of the conflict "stronger," mentioning that its military capabilities have not been significantly affected. Regarding Israel, she criticized the attacks on Lebanon, considering that they do not weaken Hezbollah.

Le Pen proposed a three-pronged action for the situation in Lebanon. She also reaffirmed the clear position of the far-right in favor of Ukraine, condemning any violation of the sovereignty of states.
