Although she was banned from traveling, she managed to reach Oslo to receive her award. Machado has revitalized the opposition in a country affected by economic and social collapse, organizing elections without official support. The Maduro regime reacted by accusing her of conspiracy and terrorism, and in 2024, the court banned her from running for president. In the context of political uncertainty, possible scenarios for the future of Venezuela are being discussed, including a power takeover by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez or a transition led by exiled opposition figure Edmundo González.
