Emmanuel Macron confirmed that he will appoint a new prime minister within 48 hours, following the resignation of Sébastien Lecornu. Lecornu was tasked with negotiating with political forces before resigning. Macron highlighted parliamentary stability and the possibility of adopting the budget by December 31. This will be the eighth prime minister appointment during his term, starting from 2017.
