Luxembourg will recognize the state of Palestine during a UN meeting

At a EU meeting, the head of Luxembourg's diplomacy, Xavier Bettel, confirmed that Luxembourg will join the countries that recognize the state of Palestine. Prime Minister Luc Frieden emphasized the importance of a two-state solution for lasting peace, stating that this effort shows that this solution remains relevant.
